Afternoon Potluck Lunch

There will be an afternoon potluck lunch provided for all Ibizan owners. To participate, we ask you to please bring a dish or snack to pass. Plates and plastic ware will be provided.

Directions

FROM THE SOUTH

I-75 to Lapeer Rd. (M24, north of Pontiac.) Go north on Lapeer Rd to Oakwood. Turn right on Oakwood to Delano. Turn left on Delano to Rock Valley Rd. Turn left on Rock Valley Rd., follow signs.

FROM THE NORTH

I-69 to Lapeer Rd. (M24, north of Pontiac.) Go south on Lapeer Rd. to Dryden Rd. Turn left on Dryden to Barber. Turn right on Barber to Rock Valley Rd. Turn left on Rock Valley Rd, follow signs.

Two more trials, same location. Be sure to enter Michigan Gazehound Association’s trials Saturday and Sunday at the same location. Contact Chris Allen at AtairAcres@sbcglobal.net for a premium list.

Practice

Practice will be held Friday after the specialty trials (weather and equipment permitting).

General Information

  1. Hounds must be one year or older on the day of the trial and will be examined for breed disqualifications - spay, neutered, monorchid and cryptorchid hounds may be entered.
  2. Stakes will be split into flights by public random draw if the entry in any regular stake is 20 or more.
  3. Bitches in season, hounds with breed disqualifications and lame hounds will be excused.
  4. Hounds not present at the time of roll call will be scratched.
  5. Hound certification runs will not be offered.
  6. Battery powered continuous loop machines will be used. Lures will consist of white plastic bags. Backup equipment will be available.
  7. The course will be reversed for the finals and again for the BOB run-offs.
  8. The Field Committee reserves the right to alter the course diagram as required by weather and/or field conditions on the day of the trial.
  9. Please bring you own food, shade and water.
  10. A park restroom is on site.
  11. No one, except Field Committee members, will be allowed on the field without the expressed permission of the Field Chairman.
  12. Anyone exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct will be excused from the field for the day.
  13. IHCUS assumes no liability for injury to any person or dog before, during or after the Test and Trial.
