Breed Information
The Ibizan Hound is a swift, slender, medium-sized hunting dog, bred primarily in the Balearic Islands and having a short, solid or spotted red and white or tawny coat. The AKC recognized Ibizan Hound as an breed in 1979. The history of the breed dates back at least 5,000 years. The breed's character is described as even-tempered, affectionate and loyal.
