How to Submit your video
- Go to https://www.clippero.com/IHCUS/
- Pick appropriate class — Click “Enter Challenge”
- Follow the instructions to create an account
- Click “Add Entry” to select and upload your video
- Type in the grey bar your dogs AKC Registration number to name the video and click “Submit”

Description
Here’s how the IHCUS Virtual Specialty Challenge is structured:
- The entry fee to participate is $15
- Dogs must be at least six months of age
- Dogs must be AKC registered (No ILP or PAL #’s accepted)
- Spayed and Neutered dogs CAN enter
- Participants enter into one of three classes
- Junior Puppy (at least 4 and under 6 months)
- Puppy (at least 6 and under 12 months)
- Open (any entry including CH of record)
- Separate classes for dogs and bitches
- Each class is judged individually and placed 1st-4th
- 1st place from each class (up to 4) is then judged to determine Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex
- Best Puppy selected from the 1st place from the dog & bitch puppy classes
- Champions of record are encouraged to enter in the appropriate class.
All entrants are to submit a video of their dog.
- Video should not exceed two (2) minutes in length and should be a continuous video (i.e. not a cut and paste of different videos).
The video should include the following components:
- Dog in stack position from the front, rear and side.
- Display of appropriate oral exam (show front, sides and/or open mouth as appropriate)
- View of dog gaiting from the side, coming & going. (i.e. around the ring & down and back)
- Dog presented in a free-stack • When uploading your video use the dogs AKC registration number as the name of the video.
Important dates to note:
- Entries Open: Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020
- Entries close: Wednesday, Aug 26th, 4PM CT. All video submissions must be uploaded by 11:59 PM CT.
- Judging begins: Thursday, September 10th, 2020
- Results will be posted by Wednesday, Sept 30th, 2020
This virtual event does not award points toward a dog’s show championship, nor count toward any award offered by IHCUS. It is meant to encourage owners to keep working with their dogs and provide an enjoyable outlet during this time when there are very few dog shows to attend.
