The AKC requires an updated membership listing from each breed club. The AKC accepts file uploads which makes it very easy for clubs and the AKC to update this information.
Following the procedure below produces a Microsoft Excel file which can be then uploaded to the AKC website. Access to this report is restricted to specific IHCUS officers and chairs.
The membership update file is in the following format:
- Member Name
- Postal Code
- Phone Number
- Email Address
Update Procedure
- Click here to download the membership update file.
- Save the file to your PC.
- Go to the AKC website at: http://www.akc.org/club_membership/
- Enter our club’s “Access Code” in the prompt on the AKC Club Membership web page.
- Select the file you saved in #2 above.
- If there are any issues with the data, the AKC website will display a message. For example, as of 4/5/2012 it did not recognize some Canadian zip codes.
- The AKC web page will display a link where you can view the membership listing after it has been updated.
